An article about the even is HERE
However, we would like to clarify one detail in the article, it suggests that Farmlab or the UnderSpring project were in large part related to Jenna and Oliver,
however the fact is that while we are supporters and fans of Farmlab, UnderSpring, and Not A Cornfield, our contributions were minimal
compared to the amazing and sustained work of the entire team down there. If you are not familar with what is going on, please consider
visiting and even volunteering, their's is an extremely impressive project and cause. We are very thankful for their generosity in hosting
our wedding and making such a special day so great.
JULY 19th 8pm - 4am
We have collided our wedding weekend with the Santa Monica Glow festival which is an overnight
festival of art, light, and technology that starts at sundown on July 19th.
We will have a small space on the beach for relaxing and enjoying the spectacle, as well as a
lighting installation at the end of the pier which is controlled by brain activity.
On the beach to the South of the pier, the wedding structure will be distributing
JULY 20th 6pm - 8pm
The following day we will marry at the F.L.A.G.(FarmLab Agricultural Bin Garden) on the north
end of the Cornfield State Park in downtown Los Angeles. You are invited to bring a noise maker,
drum, or clapping hands for the wedding processional at six o'clock when the wedding party will
move to the ring of haystacks where the vows will be exchanged.
The image to the left is Fuxi and Nuwa, two key
figures from Chinese history. Jenna and Oliver discovered them quite by chance but found them
to be an inspiring entwinement in their own right. Behind and above them is our wedding
insignia or "chop", designed by Jessica Fleishman -- over the course of the weekend, keep
an eye out for that.
