Water catchment systems collect and store moderate amounts of water for non-drinkable usage. They prolong the chain of stormwater management.
Rainfall is diverted from the roof through downspouts and into a container. The water is then stored for later usage. Plan for overflow. Let water flow to landscaped swales.
